Dennis M. Laborde
Dennis Laborde was born in New Orleans in 1950. He is an avid scuba diver and fisherman who lives on the water in nearby Lafitte, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of New Orleans, entering Loyola Law School in 1983, and graduated in 1986 while serving on the Loyola Law Review. Fluent in Cajun French, Dennis brings the local french flavor and culture of Louisiana to the firm.
Dennis joined the firm in 1986 and became partner in 1993. His practice has included complex, contractual, labor, and family law litigation, as well as bankruptcy. Dennis has tried complex cases throughout Louisiana, from Monroe to Abbeville. His commercial litigation experience has included intellectual property, contract disputes, insurance litigation and bankruptcy trials involving hundreds of millions of dollars. Besides teaching seminars on various federal laws, Dennis has spoken at the National Bankruptcy Judges Conference. He is currently licensed to practice in Louisiana and Texas.
Dennis is also a co-owner of Eaglerider of New Orleans and Eaglerider of Atlanta, the local franchise of a company that provides nationwide rentals of Harley-Davidson Motorcycles. Dennis is an avid motorcycle fan and Harley-Davidson enthusiast.
