Critical Issue Alert : Louisiana Supreme Court Declares Legislative Extensions Constitutional
The Louisiana Supreme Court declared that the legislative acts just passed by the Senate and House extending the time to file property damage claims arising out of Hurricane Katrina until August 30, 2007 and for Hurricane Rita until September 25, 2007 were and are constitutional. No insurers have filed for rehearing.
